Overview:

Provide support to the Pick/Pack Department and Team Leader by handling and carrying out operational tasks and administrative functions that will drive effective daily operations and support departmental employees in their accuracy and productivity.

Location: 180 Armstrong Road, Pittston PA 18640

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 3pm-1:30am

Role Responsibilities:

•    Research and resolve picking errors to maintain a low exception rate; assist in completion of exceptions 

•    Run and analyze reports using WMS for counts, orders and shipping

•    Communicate and collaborate with internal partners such as Customer Services, etc. to answer questions regarding customer orders

•    Handle staff account orders for all US staff

•    Review report of aged orders to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner

•    Assist packers with label errors and manual ships to customers

•    Process hanging walks

•    Process delivery tasks in system, log tracking numbers for addresses with post office boxes, update customer addresses to proper destination and ship accordingly

•    Perform stock, picking, packing, and shipping audits on a regular schedule, communicate any issues to appropriate individuals

•    Provide direction and support to Warehouse Associates, assisting them in their accuracy and productivity

•    Active participation in start-up and/or end-of shift responsibilities

•    Assist Team Leaders in effectively staffing areas based on available work and reports for stock, picking, packing, and shipping

•    Support Team Leader in engaging and motivating the team to meet and exceed departmental goals and metrics

•    Provide training, support and guidance to new employees throughout their introductory period to prepare them to efficiently meet and exceed set productivity standards

•    Track and maintain individual hourly productivity rates by reviewing reports and entering data for calculation of employee productivity incentives

•    Communicate with the management team to provide timely, accurate and relevant information and updates verbally and via email

•    Ensure workstations are properly stocked with supplies and equipment is in good working condition, communicate any supply needs/system failures to Team Leader

•    Provide administrative and clerical support to the department and Team Leader

•    Help to maintain clean and organized working and staging areas; Work with Facilities and Safety team members to ensure a safe working environment

•    Assign, execute and oversee special warehouse projects

•    Collaborate with the area Manager to provide coverage of essential departmental functions in the event of a short-term absence of the Team Leader

•    Demonstrate acceptable workplace behaviors

•    Maintain acceptable attendance standards

•    Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all Boden teams

•    Participate as an active and positive team member in all areas, improving efficiencies

•    Use Microsoft suite programs and email to communicate with Management team

•    Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Professional written and oral communications skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and email
• Strong and courteous interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
• Adaptable and open to change
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to understand and adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
