Store Shift Lead

Benefits Daily pay – work today, get paid tomorrow (easy access to a portion of earned wages after completed shifts) Health care – medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurance Retirement – 401(k) plan with a company match of 6% plus an annual contribution, funded at 3% of base pay PTO – paid time off that accrues based on hours worked and tenure Education assistance – 100% coverage of GED costs Career advancement – promotion from Shift Lead to Assistant Manager can occur in as little as six months Diverse and inclusive culture, ranked among America’s best employers for diversity Responsibilities Provide a prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions Operate the cash register Ensure fuel and merchandise are available for customers Maintain a clean and safe environment Support the Store Manager in all store operations Help lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives Perform job‑related duties as assigned When management is absent, provide backup duties such as completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, ensuring plan‑o‑gram compliance, ordering inventory, conducting product counts, maintaining equipment, and training new employees Requirements Must be 18+ years of age (or 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky, and 21 in Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, NewMexico, Tennessee, and Utah) High school diploma, GED, or at least six months of related job experience Minimum three months of cashier experience Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Must have dependable transportation Murphy Oil USA, Inc. is an equal‑opportunity employer.
