Our organization is looking for Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to become part of our established anesthesia team at our facility, a Level I Trauma Center located in Rockford, Illinois.

This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment with a varied and high-acuity case load, including trauma, high-risk obstetrics, and orthopedic surgeries. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule along with competitive pay and robust administrative support.

• Full-time role at our 195-bed, Level I Trauma Center.
• Regular hours: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• In-house call rotation: approximately 1:2.7 days (one weeknight per week and 1-2 weekends per month)
  • Weeknight in-house call: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. following an 8-hour shift.
  • Coverage responsibilities: trauma or obstetrics.
  • Post-call day off for in-house coverage.
• Pager call rotation: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th calls with an average response time of about 20 minutes.
• Moderate call volume.
• Utilization of EPIC EMR system.

• Administer anesthesia for trauma, high-risk obstetrics (Level III Perinatal Center), orthopedic, and general surgical procedures.
• Work in 14 operating rooms, handling all-hands-on trauma cases.
• Support from a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• Collaborate with MDs, CRNAs (mainly in the endoscopy suite), surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary care planning.

• MD/DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Recent, comprehensive trauma experience is essential.
• Experience in regional and obstetric anesthesia is required.
• Capability to deliver high-quality anesthesia in a high-acuity, multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.

• Base Salary: $550,000 (General), $630,000 (Cardiac).
• Potential additional allocation of up to $100K for student loan repayment and/or sign-on bonus.
