Overview LVN - MEDICAL SURGICAL FLOOR We are seeking a Medical Surgical LPN , sometimes referred to as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse . The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays an important role our hospital by providing hands-on care to patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic or acute illnesses, or undergoing diagnostic procedures. Working alongside RNs, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide patient care our hospital's medical-surgical (Med-Surge) unit , LPNs focus on assisting with patient care and ensuring comfort and safety. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. IV certification upon hire.
