Join us and transform the lives of patients while transforming your career.Duties:Apply statistical trending tools to product and method dataApply engineering principles and multivariate statistical analysis in-order to understand sources of variation and evaluate opportunities for improvementsUse data analytics software to develop visualizations to review, assess, and improve analytical method performanceInterface with analytical scientists, process development scientists, and engineers to assess, understand, and support data consumption needsInterface with product quality, QC, quality assurance, and manufacturing organizations to resolve method issuesSupport ongoing GMP activities such as the generation of the annual product review documents, regulatory inspections, and process documentationStay abreast of new technologies and statistical approaches to recommend improvementApply machine learning methodologies where appropriate for analyzing datasetsRequirements:Position requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Engineering or related field & completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, thesis, or one year of experience in the following:Data analysis and visualization using tools including Power BI and TableauDevelop data pipelines Extract, Transform, and Load using Data warehouse solutions including Databricks, Snowflake, and Amazon RedshiftAnalyze time series data and performing statistical analyses and hypothesis testingProgramming languages including Python and RAI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) techniques including classification, regression, and anomaly-detection methods for predictive analytics and operational improvementsConducting research in AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) topics including deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive analytics for potential applicationMachine Learning models including convolutional neural networks to understand protein structuresApply now and make a lasting impact with the Amgen team.Amgen does not have an application deadline for this position; we will continue accepting applications until we receive a sufficient number or select a candidate for the position.Amgen is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other basis protected by applicable law.We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
