Sales Associate – Thrift Store
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing friendly customer service and assisting with the daily operations of the thrift store.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive and process donated items.
- Sort, organize, and tag merchandise for sale.
- Assist customers and answer questions.
- Explain which items can and cannot be accepted as donations.
- Help keep the sales floor and donation areas clean and organized.
- Place merchandise in the appropriate areas of the store.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Follow store procedures when handling donations and merchandise.
Requirements:
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to communicate in English.
- Comfortable working directly with customers and donors.
- Able to stand, move, organize, and handle merchandise throughout the shift.
- Reliable and willing to work as part of a team.
