Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 64-bed IMCU setting, focusing on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions.
• Manage specialty equipment such as temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists for chronic ventilator management and support.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and maintain up-to-date electronic medical records using EPIC EMR.
• Float as required to provide nursing support across other units as needed.
• Adhere to the navy blue scrub dress code and bring a positive attitude to the team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York with current NURSYS verification for all held licenses.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU, documented in an up-to-date resume.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR systems is mandatory.
• Ability to match skills through specialty checklist and experience in handling travel assignments.
• Driver's license with matching address to demographics for verification purposes.
