About the Role:
The Law Office of Hedy Golshani APC is looking for an experienced California Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team in Los Angeles, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a dedicated growing boutique Workers' Compensation law firm with room for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage attorney calendars, prepare pleadings, WCAB forms, settlement documents file with EAMS, review dictations;
- Prepare correspondence, pleadings, forms and settkenent documents for filing with the WCAB;
- Manage and maintain case files, deadlines, and calendaring for hearings and depositions;
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel;
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–3 years of California workers' compensation legal experience beneficial;
- Law firm experience beneficial;
- Proficiency in legal case management software;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
