Maintenance Manager

Position Title Maintenance Manager Wage Based on Experience Job Summary A leading manufacturing company seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and coordinate the maintenance team, maximize equipment uptime, improve plant performance, and develop high-performing maintenance staff. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all maintenance personnel responsible for mechanical and electrical equipment repairs. Maximize equipment uptime while improving productivity, efficiency, and product quality. Promote and enforce all plant safety policies and maintain a strong safety culture. Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs. Coordinate machine overhauls and major maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime. Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and overall plant performance. Recruit, train, mentor, evaluate, and develop maintenance team members while managing performance and disciplinary actions as needed. Partner with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely resolution of equipment and facility issues. Collaborate with plant leadership to plan and execute capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and manage the annual maintenance department budget. Oversee facility maintenance operations to ensure the building and infrastructure remain safe and operational. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. At least 3 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred. Experience with printing or converting equipment, including PMC, Bobst, or Man Roland machinery, is a plus. What We’re Looking For Proven leader with a hands‑on approach to maintenance management.
