Certified Pharmacy Technician Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our pharmacy team. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. You'll play a key part in supporting patient care through safe and efficient medication handling.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and label prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain medication inventory by stocking, rotating, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies.
• Assist with medication compounding, packaging, and preparation for dispensing.
• Process insurance claims and verify patient information to ensure timely medication delivery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of prescriptions and pharmacy transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or NHA required.
• Active state Pharmacy Technician license, if applicable.
• Prior experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records (EHR) a plus.
