Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: OR skills Description: This position requires experience in an Operating Room setting. The unit consists of 18 operating rooms. Patient ratios will be maintained according to unit staffing standards. The type of equipment used includes advanced surgical tools and technology. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. There is no floating policy applicable to the operating room. Patient experience requirements align with hospital-specific standards. Certifications required for this role include Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced skills in the following procedures are necessary: Hearts, Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, GYN, and Robotics (DaVinci and Mako). This is a Level I trauma center, providing critical care and advanced surgical services.
