- Performing thorough patient assessments, coordinating diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized healthcare plans
- Utilizing your skills in diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
- Providing expert education to patients and their families about wellness, prevention, and health management
- Prescribing treatments and medications in accordance with your practice scope
- Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic care initiatives
- Working across multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and seamless care delivery
- Accurately documenting patient information and care procedures within electronic health records (EHR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Tennessee
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C from AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or the ability to obtain them within 90 days
- Exceptional clinical judgment combined with an empathetic approach
- Outstanding communication skills with patients and healthcare teams
