Paralegal

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support to the General Counsel across contract, claims, insurance, corporate, and other legal matters. What You’ll Do Manage the contract lifecycle, including intake, routing, tracking, execution, filing, and maintenance of client, consultant, vendor, and other business agreements. Maintain the contract-management system and ensure agreements, amendments, and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and readily accessible. Assist with reviewing, comparing, revising, and redlining contracts and related legal documents. Support professional-services and construction-related claims by organizing claim files, project records, correspondence, and supporting documentation. Track and maintain insurance policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements, and contractual insurance requirements. Assist with corporate records, entity documentation, governance materials, registrations, and related filings. Coordinate legal department administrative activities, including calendar and deadline tracking, document filing, records retention, meeting support, invoice processing, and follow-up on action items. Prepare, proofread, format, and organize contracts, correspondence, reports, presentations, and other legal or business documents. Maintain the confidentiality of privileged, proprietary, personal, and sensitive business information. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate. 10–15 years of paralegal or closely related legal-support experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting an architecture, engineering, construction, or other professional-services organization. Experience managing contracts and maintaining contract records throughout the contract lifecycle. Experience using a contract-management system, legal matter-management platform, or comparable document-management system. Experience supporting claims and claims-management activities, particularly professional-services, professional-liability, construction, or project-related claims. Experience working with insurance policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements, and contractual insurance requirements. Strong organizational, written communication, time-management, attention-to-detail, confidentiality, and Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Nice To Haves: (optional; not all jobs will have this separate list) Experience reviewing, revising, and redlining client, consultant, vendor, confidentiality, and other commercial agreements. Familiarity with corporate records, entity administration, and corporate-governance documentation. Experience supporting an in-house Legal, Risk Management, or professional-liability function within an AEC or professional-services organization. Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
