Status: Full Time, Day Shift Location: Dalton, GA Salary: Salary to be discussed by Bryant Staffing Solutions Recruiter Position Overview We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an occupational and primary care environment. This full-time position includes evaluating and treating illnesses and injuries, managing acute and chronic health conditions, conducting preventive health services, and supporting employee wellness initiatives. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and manage treatment plans using established clinical protocols and evidence-based practices. Some patients may primarily speak Spanish, so basic or conversational Spanish is helpful but is not required. Candidates should be comfortable using an available translation tool when language assistance is needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-employment exams, annual wellness physicals, health screenings, and other clinical assessments.
• Evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses, injuries, chronic conditions, and general health concerns.
• Create and adjust treatment plans using evidence-based practices and established clinical protocols.
• Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and modify care plans when clinically indicated.
• Educate patients about their health, treatment plans, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Participate in clinical case reviews with medical leadership and appropriate stakeholders.
• Provide oversight for employee respirator and hearing-testing activities conducted by clinic staff.
• Deliver assessments and interventions appropriate to each patient's age and individual healthcare needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Practice within established professional, ethical, and scope-of-practice standards.
• Provide clinical and operational support throughout the clinic as needed.
• Perform additional patient-care responsibilities based on clinic needs.

Required Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with an active Georgia license.
• At least 1 year of experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient-service abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinical leadership, senior stakeholders, patients, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple clinical priorities, and adapt to changing patient-care needs.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to follow established clinical procedures and written instructions accurately.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with direct patient care.
• Willingness to use translation resources when caring for patients with limited English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic or conversational Spanish communication skills.
• Active DEA license.
