Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Per Diem LPN OpportunitySouthbridge Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is looking for per diem LPNs on all shifts!Weekly pay ranges from $35 to $40 an hour, depending on the shift. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials.As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your job position is to provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the RN to residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.Experience & Education:Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.Must be CPR certified.Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.New graduates welcome!Duties & Responsibilities:Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under his/her care.Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately.Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness.Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes.Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs.Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list.Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary.Administer medication according to procedure.Maintain an accurate and safe control of all drugs for which he/she is responsible.Specific Requirements:Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.Benefits:Competitive and Weekly PayHoliday Pay for Hourly and Salaried EmployeesOvertime Pay for Hourly EmployeesCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount ProgramAvailable for Eligible Team Members:Employer-Paid Life Insurance401(k) with Employer MatchVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
