We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Business System Analyst with strong expertise in pricing domain and corporate banking to lead the delivery of scalable pricing technology solutions across loans, deposits, treasury, and fee-based products. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering, translating pricing strategies, business rules, and commercial models into clear product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with pricing platforms, pricing engines, rate cards, discounting frameworks, margin management, APIs, and enterprise integrations, along with a strong understanding of Agile product delivery. Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within NYC, NY/Charlotte, NC is $120k-$140/year & benefits (see below). Responsibilities Act as Product Owner / BSA for enterprise pricing platforms supporting corporate banking products, including loans, deposits, treasury, and fee-based services. Translate pricing strategies, profitability goals, and policy rules into detailed business requirements, epics, features, user stories, and functional specifications. Work closely with business stakeholders across finance, product management, treasury, risk, operations, and compliance to gather, analyze, and validate requirements. Define and document pricing logic, rate structures, discounting rules, spreads, margin calculations, approvals, and exception handling workflows. Support implementation and enhancement of pricing engines, including rate card configuration, pricing hierarchies, customer-level pricing, and margin optimization capabilities. Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization, refinement, sprint planning, dependency tracking, and delivery readiness. Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define data models, APIs, event flows, and system integration requirements. Drive integration between pricing platforms and upstream/downstream systems such as core banking platforms, CRM, treasury systems, data warehouses/lakes, workflow tools, and analytics platforms. Support rate management, pricing analytics, profitability analysis, margin monitoring, and pricing governance initiatives. Ensure requirements and solutions comply with regulatory, audit, control, and risk management frameworks. Lead and coordinate UAT, test case review, data validation, defect triage, reconciliation, and release readiness activities. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, issues, and dependencies across business and technology stakeholders. Contribute to target operating model improvements, process optimization, and continuous enhancement of pricing capabilities. Requirements Strong experience in corporate banking pricing across one or more of the following: Commercial / corporate loans, Deposits, Treasury / cash management products, Fee-based banking services Deep understanding of: Pricing models and strategies, Rate cards, Discounting frameworks, Spread / margin management, Profitability and pricing controls, Relationship pricing / negotiated pricing, Product / Business Analysis Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Business System Analyst, or techno-functional analyst in banking or financial services. Strong ability to convert business needs into: User stories, Acceptance criteria, Functional specifications, Process flows, Business rules, Use cases, Data mapping documents Experience managing product backlog, prioritization, sprint execution, and release planning in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong understanding of: Pricing engines and pricing platforms, API-based integrations, Data models and data mapping, System interfaces and workflow orchestration, Core banking integrations CRM and enterprise data platform connectivity Ability to work with technical teams on: REST / service integrations, Data attributes and pricing parameters, Reference data, Product hierarchies, Event-driven or batch-based data flows, Governance / Quality / Controls We offer A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
