Accounting Analyst

Complete month-end accounting close, including preparing journal entries, billing requests, reports, and Excel or query-based data analyses Analyze financial performance and identify trends and drivers affecting the Balance Sheet and P&L Partner with internal and external auditors and the technical accounting department on the accounting treatment of complex financial transactions Collaborate with auditors and internal departments to resolve data-analysis issues and respond to information requests Coordinate with third-party service providers to review information for journal entries, client billings, and balance-sheet reconciliations Own revenue recognition processes, including forecasting and analysis Reconcile, track, and report notes receivable Interpret legal agreements and apply current accounting policies when entering accounting entries and preparing reports Report to the Corporate Accounting Manager on the Corporate Receivables team Requirements Two (2) years of professional accounting experience Experience applying GAAP principles and practical applications Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in month-end accounting close processes, including journal entries and financial analysis, while ensuring compliance with GAAP principles.
