The Assistant Team Leader provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire front-end of the store. Responsibilities include associate development, customer service, asset protection, store maintenance, managing payroll budgets, ensuring store standards, maintaining the front-end and exterior of the building, providing daily tasks to associates, organizing office areas, supporting the door to floor process, completing the monthly operational risk assessment, leading safety meetings, ensuring customer service standards, completing price changes, coaching and training associates, performing team leader functions, leading donation programs, maintaining proper hiring and onboarding, and completing additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience in a supervisory role, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, reading, writing, and speaking English, managing in a professional work environment, exercising sound judgment, preserving confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail, organizing and prioritizing tasks, knowledge of industry terms and processes, effective communication, outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, and a positive attitude.

Physical requirements include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending and twisting frequently, gripping, reaching, and pinching with arms and hands frequently, squatting, kneeling, balancing, and climbing occasionally, seeing, hearing, and speaking regularly, working in a constant state of alertness, operating a motor vehicle, and having a valid state issued license.
