MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of OsteopathicMedicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

• Board eligible in Psychiatry, board-certifiedpreferred.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license topractice in California.
• DEA registration for prescribing controlledsubstances.
• Experience in forensic psychiatry orcorrectional healthcare preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Psychiatry.
• Experience with substance use disorders andco-occurring conditions.
• Comfortability with electronic health records(EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulationsrelated to correctional healthcare.
