Forklift Operator

We are looking for a Full-Time Forklift OperatorAnd Yard Crewto help us in delivering award-winning customer service and creating a unique and memorable experience for our customers. This position will assist the Yard Manager in ensuring the success of the Marina at our Wolfeboro, NH location.


Position Overview

The Yard Crew and Forklift Operator will report to the Yard Manager and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Yard. In this position, you will be part of a team that plays a critical role in the seamless service we provide to the customers of our marina.


Primary Responsibilities
• Move boats using tractors, trucks and marina forklifts.

• Assist in launching and racking boats.

• Transport trailered boats using pick-up trucks to other locations.

• Complete daily inspections of all equipment.

• Remain up to date on OSHA and company guidelines and ensure they are being followed at the Yard..


• Keep up to date on all heavy marina equipment certifications.

• Report all equipment damages, accidents, and problems to the Yard Manager.

• Update boat locations in SpeedyDock.

• Keep Yard equipment and vehicles clean, neat and organized.

• Maintain and upkeep shop equipment including trailers, trucks, jack stands, wash stands

• Assist with snow removal around storage buildings, boats, and walkways in the Winter season.

• Adhere to closing procedures including locking up access to buildings, storage facilities and equipment

• Other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience using heavy equipment.

• Valid Driver's license, required.

• Clean driving record, required.

• Experience using SpeedyDock, preferred.

• Marina Forklift experience, preferred.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Thrives in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.

Education, Licensing & Skills

• Minimum of High School degree or equivalent.


Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday + Weekends. (5 days per week)

• Monday-Friday in off-peak season
