Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 40-hour shift schedule with call duties when appropriate
• Float to other units and departments as needed
• Must be competent to proficient in multiple ultrasound specialties including abdomen, gynecology, obstetrics, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular procedures
• Perform various procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative ultrasounds
• Work with Canon i700 equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS systems
• Minimum 3 years experience in acute hospital setting required
• Minimum 3 years experience as full-time sonographer required
• One contract or more experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT) and active BLS certification (AHA certified)
• Dress code requires personal scrubs and healthcare professional attire
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
• Handle both normal and pathological cases across all ultrasound specialties
• Work with patients of all ages from neonatal to adult populations
