Starting Salary: $44,000 - $49,000 (Salary) We are seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team. Your role will work with youth who have been assigned to the Kansas Foster Care high acuity case team, as well as the youth's caregivers, to provide interventions, strategies, coaching and incentives. As a member of the KS Foste Care team, you will work with four other team members and report to our Manager of High Acuity Permanency Services.What You Will Do:Provide three hours of in-person behavioral intervention services to each of the youth on the assigned caseload, with a caseload of a maximum of five youth.Document progress towards treatment plan goals and any interventions provided.In collaboration with the assigned high acuity case management specialist, provide coaching and modeling to the caregivers and parents as they learn to effectively manage the youth's behaviors.When needed for the purpose of safety, attending worker-child, parent-child or worker-parent visits alongside the case manager.What You Will Bring:High School DiplomaAt least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screeningA valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.Current Registered Behavioral Technician or Positive Behavior Support certificates preferred.Who We AreCornerstones of Care is a mental and behavioral health nonprofit certified in trauma-informed care that provides evidence-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and support services to help children and families improve their safety and health by making positive changes in their lives.
