Hilton Anchorage is seeking a motivated Line Cook who takes pride in quality, consistency, and teamwork and who wants to learn more than just their station. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in advancing into Lead Cook, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Management.

What You’ll Be Responsible For: 

Food Preparation & Execution: 

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes.
• Maintain consistent plating and portion control.
• Execute banquet and restaurant tickets accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with prep work and station organization.
• Ensure food is served at proper temperature and presentation standards.

Kitchen Operations: 

• Maintain a clean and organized station.
• Follow all health, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Properly label, date, and store food.
• Assist with inventory rotation (FIFO) and waste control.
• Support cost control efforts by minimizing overproduction.

Growth & Development: 

• Learn multiple stations within the kitchen.
• Assist with banquet production and large-scale events.
• Participate in culinary training and cross-training opportunities.
• Develop knife skills, plating techniques, and speed under pressure.
• Gain exposure to ordering, inventory, and kitchen leadership processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8- 10-hour shift/ Flexible hours
