Senior Solution Architect, Strategic Accounts
Design and deliver production‑grade AWS architectures that embed generative AI capabilities across every workload, from modernizing applications with intelligent automation to transforming data pipelines, security operations, and developer workflows.
Partner with customers as a trusted technical advisor to translate complex business challenges into scalable, secure, cost‑optimized solutions and drive adoption of AWS services.
Influence customer technology strategy through hands‑on architecture design, proof‑of‑concept delivery, and thought leadership that demonstrates how AI accelerates outcomes across enterprise workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services.
- Lead in‑depth technology discussions and articulate business value of the AWS platform.
- Engage with Enterprise, Technical, Cloud Architects, Directors, VPs, and CXOs.
- Enable innovation using GenAI tools, frameworks, OSS technologies, and AWS managed services to build scalable web & mobile applications.
- Drive revenue growth across specific customers; shape and execute strategy to expand AWS adoption.
- Collaborate with AWS services teams, marketing, professional services, and other internal teams.
- Represent the account team to executive management.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
- Experience with end‑user or developer communities.
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $176,600 – $239,000 USD annually (USA, CA, San Francisco).
- Bonus and restricted stock units (RSUs) provided.
