Schedule: MonFri, 5x8hr, 08:0017:00

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) required
• Minimum of 6 months recent Medical Assistant experience, preferably within the last 6 months
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• BLS certification required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Take patient vitals, including height, weight, and pulse oximetry
• Room patients, recording medical history, medications, and allergies
• Assist with procedures such as nebulizer treatments and spirometry
• Prepare and administer injections, including immunizations
• Handle specimens, including sputum collection and labeling
• Perform point-of-care testing, such as strep tests
• Manage office duties including chart preparation, authorization forms, and follow-up calls

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation duration: 24 hours
• Dress code: Specific scrub color required
• All onboarding documents must be completed promptly, including background checks and health screenings
