Associate, Manufacturing EngineeringL3Harris Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing Planning to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and will be responsible for planning and optimizing our manufacturing processes and will be responsible for planning and optimizing our manufacturing operations. As a Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with industry standards.Essential Functions:Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals.Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.Analyze production processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, ensuring adherence to manufacturing plans.Monitor and analyze production data to optimize resource allocation and workflow.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment.Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of manufacturing engineering.Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing planning tools (e.g., ERP systems).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication and interpersonal abilities.L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
