Instructional Designer Clinical Education Gynecology

Location: Remote (Global), must occasionally be available to meet during Singapore business hours Type: Contract Hours: 15 to 30 hours/week Start: TBD (ongoing engagement) Rate: $40 to $55/hour Role Overview We are seeking a production-focused, writing-driven Instructional Designer with strong Articulate Rise expertise to support the development of clinical education content for gynecology. This role is centered on transforming existing materials into clear, structured, and high-quality learning assets for clinical and commercial audiences. This is a writing-focused role. Success in this position depends heavily on your ability to craft clear, concise, and instructionally sound written content, alongside deep hands‑on expertise in Articulate Rise. You will partner closely with a Lead Instructional Designer to convert complex technical and clinical information into polished, instructionally sound deliverables. Key Responsibilities Write, edit, and refine instructional content with a strong focus on clarity, accuracy, and learner engagement Transform existing materials (slides, documents, SME input) into structured learning assets Develop: Articulate Rise modules as a primary deliverable High-quality PowerPoint training decks Job aids and clinical reference materials Organize large volumes of unstructured content into logical, user-friendly learning flows Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency of technical/clinical information Apply strong visual design principles to enhance usability and engagement Collaborate with SMEs and the Lead ID to refine content and align to learning objectives Iterate quickly based on feedback in a fast-paced, evolving environment Required Skills & Experience 3 to 7+ years of instructional design experience (production-focused) Demonstrated expertise in Articulate Rise (required); portfolio must include Rise-built modules Exceptional writing skills with strong technical writing and content structuring ability Demonstrated experience developing learning assets (not just designing concepts) Advanced PowerPoint skills with strong visual design capability Proven ability to work with complex, technical, or detailed subject matter Ability to translate SME input into clear, actionable learning content Preferred Experience Background in medtech, healthcare, clinical education, or life sciences Familiarity with gynecology, women's health, or related clinical environments and medical terminology Experience working with detailed or regulated content Work Sample Requirement (Mandatory) To be considered, candidates must provide 2 to 3 relevant work samples that demonstrate: Articulate Rise modules (required) PowerPoint-based training materials (before/after SME content preferred) Job aids or structured reference materials Writing samples that show your ability to translate complex content into clear instructional copy Samples should reflect your ability to: Write clearly and concisely for adult learners Transform complex or messy input into clear, structured content Apply visual design principles effectively Produce polished, professional deliverables in Articulate Rise Candidates without Articulate Rise samples and writing samples will not be considered.
