Product Owner – Annuities
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with strong Annuities expertise to join our team in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to drive innovation, lead product implementation, and shape the future of annuity products within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for annuity products.
Ensure alignment of product goals with business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
Own and manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and balance business and technical needs.
Write clear and actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful delivery.
Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Drive digital transformation initiatives in the insurance and retirement space.
Collaborate with actuarial and financial teams to align on financial modeling and product design.
Required Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager, with at least 5 years in Annuities product implementation.
Strong knowledge of annuity structures, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks.
Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proven expertise in Annuities business functions and product delivery.
Experience in writing user stories and managing complex backlogs.
Familiarity with financial modeling and actuarial concepts.
Experience in insurance or retirement industry digital transformation projects.
Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent are highly preferred.
