About the Position

License: Active license required at submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS required. Must-Have: EPIC experience required. STEMI and stroke facility experience required. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room department. The role involves working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Occasional shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM may be needed. Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage may be required. The primary focus will be in the Psych ED unit. Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health. The department serves all age groups. Staffing ratios during the day are 4 patients to 1 nurse. Travelers may be floated to different campuses as required. The team includes interdisciplinary support from various services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Candidates should have charge experience, patient ratio experience, and skills in various emergency procedures, including but not limited to BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Successful candidates must pass a compliance EKG exam.
