Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position entails providing comprehensive prenatal, labor, and postpartum care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and baby.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs, responding to any changes or complications as they arise.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct triage assessments when necessary to determine the urgency of care needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Experience in Antepartum and Triage preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Schedule

• 3x12 hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
• Every third weekend required.

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position.

Start date is ASAP, with any Monday until November 9 being acceptable.
