Job Responsibilities Navigate basic computer software, email platforms, debt management systems, and answer calls using a multi‑line phone system. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with potential clients. Engage enthusiastically with clients over the phone and in person, providing sound financial advice and counseling. Determine debt obligations by interviewing clients, examining bills and payment schedules. Analyze credit reports and statements to recommend a financial wellness program that addresses unsecured debts. Enroll potential clients into financial programs to assist with outstanding debts. Provide educated advice using financial resources, examining income, assets, and budgeting expenses to qualify clients for the best financial program. Develop a financial plan for the client where necessary, focusing on reducing high‑interest debt. Qualifications Post‑secondary education. Experience in credit and/or collections, financial planning, and sales preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication. Fact‑gathering skills. Knowledge and use of PC systems. Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Self‑motivated and willing to improve continuously. Attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize daily work.
