Make an immediate impact as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working on-site in a supportive education setting near Berryville, VA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working directly with students to help them achieve their communication and educational goals. You'll provide therapy and consultation services to a diverse K–12 student population within a vibrant school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license (VA SLP License)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and specialists
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) on-site
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy, including individual and group sessions, to students with diverse needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop targeted Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Document student performance, maintain detailed records, and report regularly on outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and educational planning
- Adapt interventions to meet student-specific goals and support classroom success
