Our Security Staff are the peacekeepers. We aren't looking for bouncers on a power trip. We are looking for professionals who know that the best security is a conversation, not a confrontation. You ensure our guests and employees stay safe, the vibe stays fun, and the wrong people stay out.

What You'll Do

• Man the door. You are the first impression. Greet guests, check IDs, and perform thorough screenings to ensure no weapons or outside alcohol enter the building.
• De-escalate first. Your mouth is your best weapon. We expect you to diffuse tension and talk people down rather than rile them up. Adhere to our policies on use of force and de-escalation.
• Handle the heat. When words fail, you act. Safely and professionally remove guests who are intoxicated, aggressive, or threatening the safety of others.
• Communicate. Keep your earpiece in and your head on a swivel. Clear, professional communication with the team via walkie-talkie is how we prevent issues before they start. When necessary to contact local police, you'll do so.
• Document everything. If an incident occurs, you work with management to save camera footage and complete detailed 'Incident Reports'.
• Support the team. If the door is quiet and the floor is messy, you help bus glassware or clear trash. We don't just stand around with our arms crossed.

What Else We're Looking For

• Experience. Minimum of 2 years related security experience. Prior military or law enforcement experience is a huge plus.
• Judgment. You have the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Conscientiousness. You take the job seriously, but you don't take yourself too seriously.
• Genuine hospitability. You like people, and it shows in how you work.
• Reliability. Full stop. Show up, on time, every time.
• Physical presence. You are able to stand/walk for 8-hour shifts and have the ability to lift/carry/push over 100 lbs when needed.
• Availability. You are ready to work nights and weekends, as that is when the business needs you most.
