Member Services Representative One of Airetel Staffing's valued clients is looking for a Member Services Representative located in Fort Worth, TX. Job Purpose Responsible for daily functions associated with direct payments and funds transfers at American Airlines Credit Union. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Perform general ledger balancing Coordinate return items with members, outside vendors, Client Bank and other institutions Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries and related Accounting general ledger balancing Work member cases/activities assigned Follow and maintain policies and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA rules and regulations and Federal Banking laws Log, research and make necessary general ledger, account adjustments and/or returns Obtain information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic funds transfer requests Research and verify incoming and outgoing funds transfer information Communicate with vendor to process funds transfers Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming funds transfer laws Verify members for outgoing funds transfers, and Client verifying and releasing funds transfers Perform other duties as assigned The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. Top Requirements Banking/credit union experience Knowledge of wire transfers Ability to handle high volume of phone calls this person will be assisting customers on the phone Ability to be in the office every day (there will be no remote work) Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word experience Preferred Qualifications Previous customer/member service experience Previous banking or Credit Union experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team Ability to effectively communicate with all levels, both verbally and in writing Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within department Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
