Cutter OperatorWe are actively hiring for the position of Cutter Operator for our plant in Van Nuys, CA.Shifts3rd shift 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday to ThursdayDuties & ResponsibilitiesAccess IMS program to determine priority jobs and set workload for the day.Place printed jobs on jogger to align and weigh according to job specifications.Align prepared batch inside cutter to select cutting program to follow.Follow cutting program cutting from biggest measurement to smallest measurement.Monitor assigned machine during each cut to ensure adherence to specifications and make adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and operating speed.Troubleshoot machine problems, resolve if possible, notifying Bindery Supervisor/Plant Management.Replace worn cutting blades with hand tools when required.Record production and operational data, such as amount of materials processed.Ensure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.QualificationsAt least 1 year of experience using continuous and pile fed machines and packing exp.Good problem-solving and communication skills.Attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively with Press Operator.Ability to multitask with changing priorities.Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.Physical RequirementsAble to lift up to 50lbs (50% of time)Able to stand for 8 hoursWalking and moving around work-area (50% of time)For further information on the Digital Room, please explore our website and BenefitsCollaborate with leading print professionals in a fast-paced, high-tech, safe, and enjoyable environmentCompetitive pay and growth opportunities.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage (location-specific).Employer match 401(k) up to limits.Company-sponsored Life and AD&D Insurance.Flexible Spending Account and voluntary benefits.Paid holidays and PTO.Employee discounts on all products.Company-sponsored training and certifications.Fun workplace and wellness events, and morePlease note: Actual compensation within the range will depend on various factors including the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
