CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)

Job Details Position: Catering Attendant (Full Time) Location: 500 Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA 02142 (Takeda office) Schedule: Days vary, 6:30 am–3:00 pm or 9:00 am–5:30 pm (specific days discussed during interview) Job Summary Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during the shift, may drive a catering delivery truck, sets up and serves at functions, cleans event areas during and after events, breaks down the setup, and returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations. Log and maintain food temperatures. Arrange tables and decorations. Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards. Serve food and beverages to guests. Thoroughly clean location after event completion. Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility. Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment. Provide friendly, courteous service to guests at all times. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver’s license and/or valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law.
