Your Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations, initiate diagnostic tests, and develop personalized treatment plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses collaboratively or independently (as appropriate)
• Provide essential education to patients and families regarding health promotion and disease prevention
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies as permitted
• Engage in chronic care management and follow-up with patients
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive care
• Create accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
