Seasonal Swim Team Coach - Aquatics

Job Summary Under the direction of the Head Coach of Highlander Aquatics, the Seasonal Swim Team Coach is a certified USA Swimming Coach who develops young athletes in a positive environment and encourages individuals to succeed at their own level. We are looking for a qualified and dependable individual who loves the sport of swimming and enjoys working with children in a competitive and fun atmosphere. This position also opens opportunities to coach multi-group levels within Highlander Aquatics. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 3:30 - 6:30 pm. This is a 12‑month part‑time, non‑benefited position. This is an adjunct, non‑benefitted position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply. Education & Experience Previous experience as a swim coach preferred. Current certifications in CPR and First Aid required. Possess knowledge of various strokes and techniques for different age/ability levels. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, to accommodate the program’s lesson schedule. LHP conducts background checks, including fingerprinting at and drug testing, and may use a third‑party administrator.
