What You’ll Do

• Teach core academic subjects using engaging, age-appropriate instructional strategies
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment that fosters respect, curiosity, and growth
• Integrate biblical principles into daily instruction, supporting students’ spiritual development
• Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and the mission of the school
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and individual student needs
• Monitor student progress through assignments, assessments, and observations
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any concerns
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Collaborate with colleagues to support a unified, Christ-centered school culture
• Model Christian values through daily interactions, prayer, and spiritual leadership

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Texas State Teacher Certification (required)
• ACSI Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong understanding of elementary education and child development
• Ability to create a structured yet nurturing classroom environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students and parents
• A heart for ministry and a passion for investing in children’s lives
• Flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving in the classroom
