Trident Consulting is seeking a \" Associate Buyer II \" for one of our clients in \" San Clemente, CA \" A global leader in business and technology services Location: San Clemente, CA - Onsite Duration: 12 Months Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date: 09/17/2027 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift Pay Rate: $21-$27/hr w2 Job Summary The Associate Buyer will support purchasing activities for R&D, Clinical, Pilot Operations, and Operations teams. This is an entry-level purchasing role focused on purchase orders, supplier follow-up, material expediting, inventory, and ERP/MRP data accuracy. Responsibilities Create, review, and update purchase orders. Follow up with suppliers on orders, pricing, quantities, and delivery dates. Expedite late or at-risk orders. Maintain accurate vendor, pricing, part, and purchase order information. Assist with quotes and supplier documentation. Monitor open and past-due purchase orders. Support inventory and demand-planning activities. Maintain purchasing records and audit-ready documentation. Communicate supply issues and risks to senior purchasing staff. Work with internal teams and suppliers to support material requirements. Requirements 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, operations, planning, customer service, or a related field. ERP/MRP experience; Oracle or SAP preferred. Experience with purchase orders, suppliers, and inventory. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good written and verbal communication. Microsoft Office and basic Excel skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing is preferred. Education High School Diploma or Associate Degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Trident Consulting
