Full Stack Engineer

Job TitleInterview: Video Visa: USC, GC This is hybrid from day-1. Local candidates highly preferredDescription:The client would like to see people with more of a robotics background. ROS is not a must have (just a plus) but they need to at least have experience working at some sort of robotics companyRequirements7+ years of professional software development experience with strong full stack range across front end and backendExperience developing and deploying software in a robotics companyComfortable working across multiple languages: we use Go and Python in backend services and tooling and TypeScript on the front endDemonstrated experience building and shipping production front end applications (React or similar)Background in robotics analytics, fleet observability, or operational metrics and dashboardsProven experience in system architecture, API design and hands-on implementationExperience with messaging and streaming systems (queues, pub/sub, WebSockets)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Strong understanding of software engineering principles including SOLID, clean code, and test-driven developmentExposure to real-time telemetry streaming and analytics (WebSockets, MQTT, OpenTelemetry)Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skillsNice to have Qualifications:Experience with robot autonomy frameworks, behavior trees, or state machines (e.g., BehaviorTree.CPP, py_trees)Experience with ROS / ROS2 or similar robotics middlewareExperience with data visualization for telemetry, maps, or spatial dataFamiliarity with robot log/data tooling and replay (e.g., ROS bags, structured event logs)Experience with teleoperation, low-latency video streaming, or remote supervision interfacesExperience with simulation environments (e.g., MuJoCo, Isaac Sim) and software-in-the-loop testingExperience with edge/on-robot services, OTA deployment, or fleet orchestrationContributions to open-source projects
