Inventory Control / Warehouse Associate – 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As an Inventory Control team member, you will help ensure that onsite and offsite inventory is accurate and available to meet the daily needs of our supply chain, manufacturing teams, and customers.

We’re looking for a dependable, motivated, and collaborative colleague who takes pride in accuracy, safety, and getting the job done right. In addition to your daily inventory responsibilities, you’ll participate in safety, quality, and process-improvement initiatives.

Your work matters. The products you help manage and deliver may support a scientist working toward a new cancer treatment, a laboratory conducting critical research, or a healthcare professional caring for a patient.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will:

• Perform stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and availability.
• Investigate missing, misplaced, or discrepant materials and help determine root causes.
• Perform inventory transactions and systematic material movements.
• Support accurate management of both onsite and offsite inventory.
• Remove and process discarded materials according to established procedures.
• Regularly operate powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Support inventory needs across supply chain and manufacturing operations.
• Participate in safety, quality, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

• Minimum of one year of general warehouse experience.
• One to two years of experience working with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and E1 or a similar inventory/ERP system.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks, such as stackers, swing trucks, and power walkies.
• Experience handling hazardous materials or chemicals is a plus.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This is an active warehouse position. The role requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods, including throughout the shift.
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, handle materials, and use hands and arms to perform job duties.
• Regularly lift up to 20 pounds and lift heavier materials, up to approximately 40–45 pounds, with assistance and/or equipment when required.
• Work in environments with fluctuating hot and cold temperatures, including cold rooms and freezers.
• Work around equipment and machinery where elevated noise levels may be present.
• Work at heights as required.
• Work with or around hazardous materials and chemicals in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include safety glasses, gloves, gowns, lab coats, hearing protection, and other protective equipment.
• Maintain the close vision and ability to adjust focus required to perform assigned duties.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $18.00–$21.00.
