Job Title Senior Oncology Specialist Location & Territory On‑Site at San Francisco, CA. Territories covered include San Jose, Santa Clara, Santa Rosa, Monterey, Palo Alto, and San Mateo. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary customer contact, providing comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen’s oncology products and effectively communicating their clinical and economic benefits to medical professionals. Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan that includes delivering branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets. Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts. Craft effective marketing strategies to drive sales. Analyze sales activities and territory performance, and collaborate with the District Manager to develop territorial plans. Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle, building brand awareness while keeping patient service at the forefront. Partner with colleagues to share best practices and embrace continuous curiosity and learning. Leverage disease state awareness and industry changes to deliver agreed results. Minimum Education and Experience High School or GED + 8 years of sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field (not sales related). Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of sales and/or clinical experience. Associate degree + 6 years of sales and/or clinical experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in oncology sales. 3+ years of sales/marketing experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries. Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases. Local market knowledge. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration (preferred). Demonstrated adaptability in planning, organizing, communicating with impact, driving results, and cultivating relationships. Benefits & Compensation • Annual base salary range: $140,465 – $190,041 (U.S.)
