Physical Therapist – Hand Therapy

Location: Galt, California

Schedule: Full-Time | Weekdays

Practice Setting: Private Outpatient Practice

Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 per year, plus benefits

 

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist with an interest or experience in Hand Therapy to join a growing outpatient rehabilitation team in Stockton, California.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and wants to build or continue developing expertise in hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation. You will work with patients to restore mobility, improve function, reduce pain, and help them return to the activities that matter most.

A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is a plus but is not required .

 

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with hand, upper-extremity, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Build strong relationships with patients while delivering an exceptional patient experience

 

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license
• Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy
• Experience or a strong interest in Hand Therapy and upper-extremity rehabilitation
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

 

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive compensation package of $80,000–$110,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
