* Permanent Role* Anywhere* Posted 2 days agoWe are looking for an experienced Systems Design Engineer to take responsibility for the design, installation, and performance of key mechanical systems on a Formula 1 car. This role focuses on system architecture, reliability, and the development of components that operate in an extreme, fast paced motorsport environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and development of F1 vehicle systems Creation of composite, metallic and rapid prototyping components Analysis of system performance, validation data and track data Root cause investigation, failure analysis and risk assessment Managing non conformities and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively Ensuring full compliance with FIA technical regulations Cross department collaboration across design, aerodynamics, PU, trackside operations and productionYour Profile:Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or similar engineering discipline Strong understanding of thermal systems, fluid routing, packaging constraints and component behaviour Proficiency in CAD (CATIA/NX) and experience with system performance data Proven proble solving, investigation, and reliability engineering skills Ability to work under pressure and manage rapid turnaround cyclesApply below to share your CV or call our offices to discuss the first step in making that dream move.Tiro is a specialist Employment Agency & Employment Business assisting with both contract and permanent opportunities in high performance cars, motorsport, software, electronics, engineering & manufacturing.
