Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in St. Louis, MO. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients in a hospital setting regain or improve daily skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role involves designing and administering treatment programs, supervising assistant staff as directed, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Missouri state OT license required.
• Compact license accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience.
• Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and fabricating splints.
• Experience supervising assistants or aides.

Assignment Details

• Must be willing to float between Atrium and Aspen.
• 35 hours Guaranteed Time Discernible (GTD).
• No weekends required.

Impacting Patient Care


Designs and administers treatment programs to increase patients' functional levels. Uses therapeutic exercises and activities to improve or maintain strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination. Maintains timely and accurate patient records and reports. Supervises assistant and aide staff as guided by the governing board.
