Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join their Energy and Project Finance group in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project finance transactions, particularly in renewable power and energy transition, and will be capable of handling significant responsibilities in drafting primary deal documents. Responsibilities Draft primary deal documents including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements, and financing agreements. Collaborate with sponsors, investors, developers, and lenders on project finance transactions. Contribute to joint venture agreements and tax equity investment agreements. Work effectively within a deadline-driven environment. Requirements 4-7 years of experience in project finance transactions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where you will sit. Education Strong academic credentials. Certifications Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Ability to manage significant responsibilities in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
