JOB SPECIFICS
\n- \n
- Join an established Primary Care practice \n
- Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research. \n
- Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care and current research. \n
- Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups. \n
- Clinic hours are Monday Friday 8am-5pm \n
- Excellent work/life balance with no call or weekends. \n

Qualifications \n
\n
\n
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
\n- \n
- Masters degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program \n
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant \n
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) \n
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred \n
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications \n
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems \n
