Staff AccountantLatrobe, PA 15650$60,000-$68,000Full-Time | OnsiteAbout the CompanyJoin a well-established nonprofit organization making a meaningful impact in the community.Collaborative, team-oriented accounting department with a supportive leadership team.Opportunity to contribute to financial reporting, year-end accounting initiatives, and audit preparation.Stable organization that values accuracy, teamwork, and professional growth.Staff Accountant ResponsibilitiesThe Staff Accountant will prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.Assist with year-end reporting, financial consolidations, and audit preparation.Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.The Staff Accountant will analyze financial data and maintain accurate general ledger records.Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain reports using PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.The Staff Accountant will collaborate with financial analysts and the accounting team to support daily accounting operations.Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant RoleBachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization preferred.Experience with account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support.Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop strongly preferred.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.Team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.
