Wastewater OperatorAs a Wastewater Operator, you will be responsible for properly treating wastewater, removing solid waste, and ensuring the clean water is decanted to the sewer. You will manage the disposal of dewatered solids and oversee the cleaning of the area. Additionally, you will maintain inventory of raw materials used in wastewater treatment and upkeep the wastewater department.Responsibilities:Interact with county officials during inspections.Maintain a chain of custody for tested samples.Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and present them to the VP of EHS, PPM Management, and the county when required.Ensure proper housekeeping in the wastewater department.Essential Skills:Proficient in wastewater treatment.Licensed in Industrial Wastewater Treatment by the State of GA.Mechanical aptitude.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Must be licensed in Industrial Wastewater Treatment.Forklift skills are required, with sit-down experience being essential; scissor lift and stand-up experience are advantageous.Why Work Here?This position offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership role with potential for a raise as a leader. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
